The PBGS Group made the decision to sponsor a Genealogy Web
Page.
This is a new adventure for the Society and we have lots to
learn.
At the same meeting, members kicked off a project to document
the local cemeteries.
Walter E. Wilson spent time copying official records that
were type written documenting
the Odessa Cemetery thru the year 1991.
These digital images were incorporated into HTML format for the Web
Site. We found a
normal Find command will not work. So a new format was
instituted with a text file. This
version was compiled manually at the Grave Sites by Jane
McBride. We thank Jane for this
endeavor. These records are of the Old Odessa
Cemetery.
Sunset Memorial Gardens located East of the City will be our
next project.
As far as we know, all this data will have to be
compiled. More news about this later.

attempting to incorporate all the data in one file along with
images of numerous Grave Sites. Thanks
